Ambrose Estate Wedding ~ 28th October 2018Carolyn & Moe
Perth put on some glorious weather when flight attendants Carolyn and Moe flew in from Dubai to celebrate their love and marriage at Ambrose Estate. There chosen venue is a stunning backdrop for their wedding and photography memories. Not only did these two love birds fly in, pardon the pun, their loved ones flew in from all over the world.
Bride Carolyn planned the day from overseas with the help of her sisters and family here in Perth.
It was sister Lauren who phoned me one day out of the blue to enquire about wedding photography for her sister’s wedding. It’s always lovely to chat about wedding photography needs via the phone. Many questions get answered on the spot without the need to email back and forth and wait for a reply.
Lauren was able to communicate with Carolyn and Moe and they opted for the package I have with Groovy Entertainment. Gavin looks after all DJ/MC needs on the night. Carolyn and Moe were able to cross two wedding vendors off at once and rest easy knowing Gavin and I have over 4 decades of experience in our areas of expertise.
I did get to meet Carolyn before the big day. It was clear as to why her chosen career path as a flight attendant had taken her overseas. Carolyn is so warm and friendly, and I could imagine her as a flight attendant.
When I met Moe on the wedding day and his lads, they were everything I imagined. Fun, energetic, warm and friendly. They all travelled many miles to be with Moe and Carolyn on their special day. They put up with a crazy number of Aussie flies! Check out one of the groomsmen doing bridesmaid duties. Well who are we to say who has to do what duties at a wedding. We love seeing a groomsman help the bride out!
It was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to work at Ambrose Estate. I sent an email off to the wonderful events Manager, Kate, to see if she had time to show me around before the wedding day arrived. Kate is warm, friendly and ever so helpful. On the day of the wedding Kate went above and beyond as a Wedding and Events Manager – she carried our camera bags! I have never in my career had this happen. Thanks’ so much Kate. Us photographers have a habit of wandering off to chase the light and leave our bags behind.
Nathanael Ditchburn was the couples chosen celebrant. He loves to get the guests involved in ceremonies to cheer his couples on which brings energy to your ceremonies.
As we chased the light at Ambrose, swatted a billion flies away, laughed with Carolyn and Moe who found it hard not to laugh at anything, check Moe out when I asked him to gently place his hand on his brides face, I laugh every time I see the series of images and hope the memories brings back the fun and happiness for them and their bridal party who were busy laughing in the back ground.
Huge thanks to you all for being amazing!
Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate this huge life event in Carolyn and Moe’s life and for travelling Down Under to Western Australia to be with them. Be Sure to check the Blog images out for the special moment when mother of the groom gifts her daughter in law earrings at the bridal table. Treasured memories captured forever.
Best Wishes lovers for your move to the States from Dubai. I will forever remember the smiles, love and laughter you bought with you to Perth! Huge congratulations.
