Classical Fraser’s Kings Park Wedding

19th May 2018 Fraser's Kings Park Wedding

Natalie & Daniel

“She will always be my princess” were praised words spoken by the bride’s father on 19th May 2018 during Natalie and Daniel’s Classical Fraser’s Kings Park wedding.

Whilst most of the worlds eyes were fixated on the royal wedding in the UK brides and grooms around the world whose wedding were years in the planning said I Do.

Just how did I come to be at this couple’s weddings? My most favourite way – via referral from one of the bride’s friends, Lisa! (who I believe bought her wedding album in and said now Natalie – this is what you really don’t want – I wish I was in Lisa’s life to give her beautiful images when she married. Thank you for the referral Lisa! Xxx ) To make it even more wow – we live around the the corner a stone throw away!

Like most of my couples I got to know Natalie quite well before the day to understand what Natalie and Daniel wished for their wedding day photography memories.

The words “white wedding” resignated with me. It’s one close to my heart. it was clear on the day Natalie’s Croatian Heritage and strong love of family was celebrated throughout the day. Classical, timeless, a little traditional and full of family love.

Daniels preparations was my first stop for the day. All the lads were organised to a T! We were recognised by one of the groomsmen who had seen us at a wedding 3 weeks earlier which was a lovely surprise! It was also lovely to see Daniel and Natalie include father of the bride Chris in the groomsmen’s preparations. Awe such beautiful thoughts!

Second stop for the day was our stunningly timeless gorgeous bride! It’s always exciting to see our brides for the first time on their wedding day. It gives us heart melting flutters every time and we are just their photographers. Imagine what their grooms think when they see them for the first time.  Natalie had that beautiful bridal glow. The house was full of wedding day laughter and a mum determined to tie the Sophia Tolli  dress on so it couldn’t come off! Marija had us all laughing.

After the preparations were captured we headed off to my one of my favourite churches, Christ the King in Beaconsfield. It may be because after all these decades Father Keating’s happy face is still smiling. I always like going to find him to say hello. Watch out for Father Keating after blessing the rings with holy water he blesses a couple of groomsmen too! How did he know they were the cheeky ones on the day! For those close enough to hear the blessing we had a bit of a chuckle.

With the rings blessed, rings and vows exchanged, the bride kissed, twice, check out the second kiss stolen, these two young lovers made their exit as husband and wife.

When we spoke to Natalie and Daniel about wedding photography locations Natalie had one request “Please don’t put me in the bush”. My bride’s wishes are always delivered! Whether you like the bush or not, the river or not, the beach or not, urban or not, we will photograph you where you want to be photographed ~ it’s your day!

Natalie and Daniel chose local sentimental areas for their wedding photographs. We headed to Smart Park in Spearwood for a few photos with Natalie’s parents, Marija and Christopher, who are celebrating 30 years of marriage this year! Amazing! Congratulations! Smart Park in Spearwood was the location Marija & Christopher were photographed on their wedding day. Allure Limousines then whisked our couple and the bridal party to Port Coogee for a quick session before the sunset and afterwards to Fraser’s Kings Park.

Little did we all know a surprise was brewing at the reception, Fraser’s Kings Park. It was such a surprise not even the Groom knew. Northern Lights WA were there working some magic. Cue the Bride and Grooms Entry and cue the fireworks!! What a way to start the celebrations!

The reception was full of family and love with Natalie’s aunt Marina MCing the night.

As the food was eaten, the speeches said, the mothers thanked, the band played and the first dances had,  this princess had married her prince on such a royal day!

Congratulations Natalie and Daniel! Wishing you love and happiness for your eternity!
