Kent Street Weir Family Session

15th July 2018

On Sunday we headed out early on this slightly wet winters morning to Kent Street Weir for an extended family session. Not only do I love wedding photography I also love heading out to meet families for family photography sessions.

It was pretty chilly and on the drive there the rain was falling.

Mother nature decided to be kind to my family and stopped it from raining.

Yes, it was fresh and chilly. The ground was soggy and wet. However, this family braved it all to capture some forever moments!

I first meet Natalie way back in about 1999 when we worked together in a photo lab in Fremantle. Way back when the only way to photograph anything was on film. We spent many days together processing film and printing it.

As life happens and you go your separate ways we lost touch until that thing called Facebook reconnected everyone. It was so lovely to get the call to capture these memories for Natalie and her family.

Just like all families, there is always that one family member who likes to joke around and stir everyone up. Can you spot him? Thanks for bringing some laughter and cheekiness to the day Marko!

As the day was chilly I went to town blogging a lot of the Black and White versions of the images captured. My family sessions do include a set of colour and a set black and white memories so you get to decide which you like best.

I hope you look at these forever Cubelic Family and it takes you right back to that slightly wet, slightly chilly Sunday morning in July when you all braved the weather for a family session.

Thanks for being amazing!
