Pagoda Resort Ballroom Wedding

Kahlia & Luke - 20th March 2021

The Pagoda Resort Ballroom wedding venue  was the venue of Kahlia and Luke’s wedding day celebration dreams.

Sacreh Heart Catholic Church in Highgate, just 5mins from the Perth CBD and right along side Hyde Park was chosen by the couple for their wedding ceremony.

These lovers opted for a  wedding photography package I offer with DJ and MC Gavin from Groovy Entertaintment. 8 hours coverage enabled all the wedding day moments from grooms preparations right through to the couples first dance.

Grooms Preparations

Groom Luke and the Groomsmen were close by to The Pagoda Resort Ballroom for their preparations opting for the Broadwater Resort Como.

Luke and his lads indulged in Flavoured wedding day cigars and whiskey and some extremely funny conversation. When the lads are free to speak their minds it makes for capturing some really funny moments. Remember lads to be yourselves – there is nothing I havent heard before.

With Cigars and whiskey had, i left the lads for a short 2 minute walk to meet the bride and her tribe.

Bridal Preparations

Bride Kahlia and her tribe were busy undergoing all the wedding day pampering of hair and makeup at the Pagoda Resort, just up a few floors from the Beautiful Pagoda Ballroom.

Just as cosy and chilled as her groom to be’s preparations, Kahlia was busy dressing her two little precious boys, who unknown to us at the time were going to provide priceless memories and moments during the ceremony and wedding reception.

With some champagne popped and some little flowergirls peering through the celebrations, look out for their cuteness, it was time to get the bridesmaids and Bride Kahlia into their beautiful wedding day dresses, by Showpo and Luv Bridal.

We have to mention the Beautiful florals By Sweet Florals. Her creations constantly wow us!

Waiting to whisk them off to Sacred Heart Catholic church was the alluring stretch Limo from Allure Limousines.

The Wedding Ceremony

Decon Aaron Peters is seen waiting our brides arrival outside the historic Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Inside guests and groom Luke eagerly await.

Our brides and grooms two you boys make their walk down the aisle followed by our beautiful bride.

Look out for the moment where their youngest sone just wants to sit on dad’s lap and then jump for joy down the stairs. The couples oldest son is seen doing what with the ring box, using it as a car on the carpet of the church. These are the moments we all love.

Flower girls fanning themselves, readings by loved ones read, first kisses and rings exchanged, wedding certificates and documents signed and this new husband and wife make their walk out of the church with grand fist bumping moments. Mr & Mrs Lee!

Wedding Photography at Hyde Park

After family photos were captured on the grounds of Sacred Heart Catholic Church our newlyweds opted for wedding photographs at Hyde Park.

We Followed the Jeep from Allure Limosuines around the block and around Hyde Park to find a “less busy” spot. Yes, Hyde Park can be busy, we promise we wont get a parkful of strangers in the background of your wedding photos. Check Kahlia and Lukes out!

The sun played hide and seek that day but when it popped out we made the most of some gorgeous backlight.

With some fun shots with the limo captured we have great memories of bride Kahlia dropping it low! In all that dress.

It was time to head back to the Pagoda Resort Ballroom for these lovers to celebrate their wedding reception with family and friends from near and far.

The Wedding Reception

Under the grand archway’s of the Pagoda Resort Ballroom our bride and groom made their grand entrance.

Earlier we captured page boys and flower girls dancing up a storm.

As the resort served the bride, groom and guests we captured champagne popping and awaitied the nights speeches.

Queue the wedding cake cut, of the beautiful creation from Bridal Select Cakes and the moment All of that happiness is all over Kahlia’s face! So much happiness!

The couple opened the dance floor, dancing under the arches of the Pagoda Ballroom created memories with the Father of the Bride and Mother of the bride and the celebrations were most certainly underway. Gavin from Groovy Entertainment certainlky had everyone busting moves on the dancefloor.
