Perfect Rainy Winter Wedding |Quarry Farm

Plan the Perfect Rainy Winter Wedding

It’s Back to Blogging weddings and filling my time with happy thoughts, beautiful faces and LOVE and perfect rainy winter weddings at Quarry Farm!!

For those of you scrambling to replan and shift wedding dates, don’t over look a winter wedding!

Gorgeous Bride Caitlin and her Handsome Groom Harley planned the perfect winter wedding at Quarry Farm in Whitby Western Australia.

Whilst most couples hope it doesn’t rain on their wedding day, these lovers hoped for something different! Mother Nature blessed them with their wish! Rain is good luck on your wedding day. These lovers were blessed with a lifetime of good luck.

Wedding Day Preparations

With the bride and groom preparing just on opposite sides of the road, it made capturing preparations a breeze!

Be yourself on your wedding day, it is what I want to capture. Bring your personalities. Harley and his lads certainly allowed me to capture the real them and I LOVE IT!

I crossed the road to find bride Caitlin and her ladies.

Cally from Luxe Bridal Hair was putting the finishing touches on our beautiful brides hair whilst Lindsay from Starlet Creations was working her magic on the end of the makeup brushes. How amazing is Caitlin’s hair and how gorgeous is her makeup.

Being an Aussie winter, would it be a wedding without UGG BOOTS. What a way to splurge on your wedding day. Be comfortable at your reception, it doesn’t have to be uncomfortable heels at your wedding reception. You, do you!

The Wedding Ceremony

Photographing wedding ceremonies at Quarry Farm is always picture perfect.

Quarry Farm’s shearing shed is the perfect location for your winter wedding ceremony.

Guests stay dry and get to see the beautiful views of the farm.

This couple opted for a circular arbour and it suited the lines of the Shearing shed perfectly whilst breaking away from traditional arbour shapes.

Connie, from With Love as Always, was the couples chosen celebrant. We love Connie’s energy when delivering your wedding ceremony. Connie’s love for love, weddings, her couples and their loved ones shines in your wedding photography. I love the moment Connie embraces the Groom during the signing of the wedding documents. Just look at all that love and happiness.

Winter Wedding Photography

It was rain these two lovers wished for on their wedding day.

In no uncertain terms, it bucketed down.

For a well seasoned perth wedding photographer with over 2 decades under my belt, it was a challenge to keep these newlyweds dry, yet capture the elements of their wedding day.

With Rain, cigars, booze, Ugg Boots, Old Holden’s, a veil wearing groom, and a spectacular rainy night image, I know you will agree that this set of wedding memories is no short of love, laughter, happiness, smiles and sheer joy!

Rain does not have to dampen your wedding day spirits. Embrace it. Run with it and it will be the best day of your lives.

Don’t be afraid to plan the Perfect Rainy Winter Wedding!
