Quarry Farm - 6th October 2018

Sam & Rebecca

On Saturday October 6th 2018, Sam and Rebecca were wed in a Quarry Farm Shearing Shed wedding. The was ceremony officiated by Dawn Nosworthy. The couple were surrounded by family and friends and the couple’s little son Charlie.

Sam and Rebecca opted for one of the packages I offer with Groovy Entertainment. Between us both we have over 4 decades of experience in our chosen areas of expertise. this gives couples a sense of peace, knowing they are in experienced hands on their wedding day.

The day started with some bridal preparation memories captured and one little boy who ran away from me and my clicking camera. You can see Charlie watching from the doorway as Rebecca got dressed to marry Charlie’s daddy.

As it turned out Charlie would drift off to sleep just after the ceremony and remain asleep until speeches.

We arrived at Quarry Farms Shearing Shed to find our groom with the hugest smile. He had been there early in the morning to set the reception styling up. Be sure to check out his handy work on the centre pieces.

The blooms by Sir Botanical on the arbour in the shearing shed blew us away.

Rebecca made her grand entrance on her father, David’s arm, and in David’s other arm was Charlie. These fathers of the bride images are priceless and show the love David has for his daughter and grandson.  Later in the ceremony the strength, love and support David has for his family is as clear as a sunny day. David gets up to help his wife, mother of the bride, Christine, finish a reading when emotion becomes overwhelming for her and words become hard to say. These images scream love and support.

Dawns ceremony had it all. Love, happiness, laughter and tears of joy and pride.

In the days leading up to the wedding Rebecca and I communicated back and forth to ensure her day covered everything important to this couple. Often couples have grandparents sign the official paperwork however on this couples wedding day not only did they have Rebecca’s grandparents sign the paperwork it was Rebecca’s grandmother birthday.

My couple walked up the aisle, kisses and congratulations were had, and little Charlie fell asleep on Christine’s shoulder. Look out for the image of him with his mummy and daddy in the back ground.

We whisked the couple off for a quick 25 min bridal party session before they entered their reception before sunset. On entry the cake was cut, entrée’s were served then we whisked them back out to capture a quick sunset image before they returned to party the night away.

Speeches were said, and Charlie awoke just in time for an ice-cream and to pop some bubbles with mum and dad as well as sing happy birthday to his great grandmother, Cathy. In another special touch Rebecca gave her bouquet to her grandmother.

Guests then watched as the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife and David got to dance with his daughter. The young and the wise flooded the dancefloor and celebrations were well underway.

This was my chance to whisk my couple away for one final time, to the island Gazebo, which is becoming a popular request from my couples, for a night image. Sam and Rebecca then stopped to play the giant games from Lace and Roses Wedding and Event Hire and like a graceful bride and wife,  Rebecca let Sam win.

Walking back to the reception we met up with Oli, the grooms brother, for a quick few funny shots. This pair were keen to fluff the dress to see if they could get Rebecca’s train to fall as easily as I could throughout the day (which comes from experience), it did take two of them and they were proud of themselves and my bride found it hilarious. Don’t forget to look for those images.

This is where I kissed my bride and groom goodnight and let them enjoy the rest of their first night together as husband and wife.

Rebecca, Sam and Charlie hugest congratulations!
