Quarry Farm Wedding 2019

Quarry Farm Wedding - 2nd March 2019

Rebecca & Karl

Lead Up to the Wedding Day

Rebecca and Karl chose Quarry Farm for their 2nd March 2019 wedding.

If you follow me or read my blogs you may just know how much I love this wedding venue. This hidden gem is located just south of Byford in Whitby on the South Western Highway. Its rustic farm feel makes you feel like you are miles from anywhere. As the sun sets, the Kangaroos explore and  colours of the landscape pop making it perfect for weddings ambience and for a bride and grooms wedding photography.

The Wedding day

The Bride Preparations

It was a perfect Autumn Day for Rebecca and Karl’s wedding.

The bride chose The Sebel in Mandurah for her wedding day preparations.

While Rebecca and her Tribe dressed, I stood in the hallway having a conversation with father of the bride, David.

We spoke about how proud he is not only of bride Rebecca but all of his children. He told me how much of a good man Karl is and how happy he is the two of them are marrying

David spoke about how nervous he was about the speeches. He was very young when he married and didn’t make a speech at his own wedding. He was determined to stand up and make a proud speech at his daughters wedding,

This wedding day was going to be perfect. Maybe with a Huge revealing surprise!

The Wedding Ceremony

Rebecca and Karl chose the beautiful Shearing Shed at Quarry Farm for their wedding ceremony. Draped in silks the shearing shed looked romantic and fairytale like.

Meridith Lake was chosen by the bride and groom to officiate and legally unite these young lovers as husband and wife.

Watch out for the couples little son Archie who stole the show with his own walk up the aisle at the end of the ceremony.

Wedding Photography

Before we whisked the newlyweds out for bridal party photography at Quarry Farm, we took some time to capture the all important memories of the couples family in the shearing shed.

We got some great family photos with Karl lifting his little super hero into the air – these are real raw true family moments we love capturing.

It was then out to the iconic huge tree, the Jacaranda Lane Way and Sheds for the couples first official wedding photos.

We laughed as Rebecca’s veil attacked Karl, we swooned as the wind blew it perfectly and we lost it Laughing at the groomsmen showing us 4 full moons. Those hilarious pics are for the bride and grooms eyes only! We do capture some weird moments where we ask ourselves, what the heck just happened whilst we are laughing reminding ourselves to just shoot through the hysterical  laughter.

Queue Reception time.

The Wedding Reception

After a grand entrance and entrees we set off with Rebecca and Karl to capture the sunset and Dusk tones of the farm. We also captured one very special secret memory to be revealed during speeches.

Earlier in the blog I spoke about David, father of the bride and speech time.

David stood proud and spoke beautifully about his daughter and her new husband.

I will never forget the moment David walked down the stairs of Quarry Farm and high fived me! He nailed his father of the bride speech.

Speeches were a big thing at Rebecca and Karl’s wedding. They had an extra special announcement. If you look over the sunset wedding photographs at Quarry Farm in the field, you will notice Karl’s hands on Rebecca’s tummy. Yes! The huge speech announcement during Karl’s speech was that the newlyweds are expecting baby number two. Archie is going to be a big brother.

With Speeches said, the cake cut, this loving groom helped his wife out of her heels and into her dancing shoes – those all comfortable thongs! We photographed those memories too!

Groovy Entertainment provided the tunes for guests to dance up a storm too.

With the dance, danced and a night image captured we kissed these newlyweds goodnight and let them continue the nights celebrations at beautiful Quarry Farm.

Once again hugest congratulations newlyweds.
