18th August 2018 ~ Quarry Farm WeddingTara & Marlon
It was a Quarry Farm Wedding for Tara and Marlon on 18th August 2018.
First of all for those who follow me closely, you would know I love this venue and for that reason and many more, it was so lovely to be chosen by Tara and Marlon to photograph their wedding. This venue is just 45 mins south of Perth.
Tara and Marlon came to see me in September of 2017 to lock me in as their wedding photographer.
I remember that meeting well. I met a very softly spoken bride to be in Tara and a quick witted funny Marlon. I honestly think Tara may have wondered what I thought of Marlon’s quick and cheeky wit but in all honesty, I couldn’t wait to spend the day with these two lovers.
In that meeting we spoke about dogs! Yes I love dogs! Tara and Marlon had plans to bring their furbabies to Quarry Farm for that all important family photo because they love dogs too! With the help of Tara’s Mum and Dad, these two furbabies made their way to the farm for a photo with Tara & Marlon.
On the morning of the wedding I sent Tara a text wishing her well and letting her know I would see her soon. A reply came back from Tara explaining she had planned something special for Marlon and could I capture his reaction. She teed this up with her brother Luke who handed Marlon a box during their photography preparation session. Check the images out to see the reaction.
This Bride and Groom were pronounced husband and wife by Janne Martin in the shearing shed at Quarry Farm.
The day was full of love and laughter!
Marlon had family travel all the way from America to be present for the wedding.
They often say that people who joke around have the biggest hearts and those present at the couples wedding got to see this, as Marlon made his speech. The emotion from this groom as his wife stood by his side, was humbling. One thing is sure, those moments will remain in the hearts of everyone who was present for eternity.
As the guests celebrated, the cake was cut, donuts eaten and toasted, we made our way out to the Gazebo for a night image.
Tara had seen an image I capture the night before at Quarry Farm and wanted a lovers kiss in the Gazebo!
On the 18/08/18 Tara became the new shining star of #TeamRAMIREZ and has a jacket (okay and a marriage certificate) to prove it!
Wishing you both a life time of love and happiness! Finally thanks for being an amazing bride and groom and for the honour of capturing your love and marriage.
Love Simone & Cassandra.
