Rustico Hay Shed Hill Wedding
Rustico Hay Shed Hill Wedding - 7th February 2020Tanaya & Andrew
South West Destination Wedding
Rustico Hay Shed Hill Weddings we love you!
This was the chosen venue for these young lovers to say “I do” in front of all of their loved ones.
As a Perth wedding photographer, it was such and honour to get the call up from Tanaya and Andrew to capture their destination south west wedding.
I first met Tanaya when she frocked up to be bridesmaid for her sister Jenelle’s wedding to Matt.
I can honestly say I was so excited to have the opportunity to see this family again and head to the south west to capture this amazing day for Tanaya and Andrew.
The Wedding Day
I packed my camera gear and headed to the south west the day before the wedding to hopefully bump into Tanaya and Andrew at their venue. I will take every opportinunity to meet you onsite where possible.
With perfect timing, and a late lunch booking at Rustico, (seriously if you haven’t been there, go there and eat! The food and drinks are amazing.) I managed to bump into Tanaya and Andrew and look around this amazing venue. With times triple confirmed and a look around the venue I couldn’t wait to see these lovers the following day.
The Grooms Preparations
In a beautiful holiday home just a walk across the road from the beach in Busselton, we met Andrew, his lads and loved ones to document Andrews preparations.
It’s always a great laugh to watch the lads put the finishing touches on. The moments ties go on always brings jokes and confusion. Andrew seemed to help his lads more!
Bride Tanaya surprised her hubby to be with new socks. These socks had their furbaby Tilly’s face on them. Just look at Andrew”s face light up. The perfect gift.
The Brides Preparations
Bride Tanaya got ready just 5 minutes up the road, in Vasse.
When I knocked on the door I was greeted by my former bride and Tanaya’s sister, Jenelle. It was like a mini reunion. Heartwarming to be with this family again for another milestone moment.
With the Help of her 3 Sisters Tanaya frocked up in her beautiful wedding gown.
Check the 4 beautiful sisters out in the images. How special is it when a Bride chooses her sisters, to be by her side, on her wedding day.
As time ticked closer to Tanaya’s big walk down the aisle it was time to head to Rustico Hay Shed Hill to await our brides arrival.
The Wedding Ceremony Location
I often talk about mother nature in my blogs, with weather being super important on wedding days adding to the mood and feel of the day.
Tanaya and Andrew were blessed with beautiful overcast sky for their ceremony, located in the middle of the vineyard, at Rustico Hay Shed Hill. Overcast sky acts as a beautiful natural filter for photography. Softening the light. Making it a photographers dream.
Tucked behind a grove of trees along side a the grape vines, Andrew and all the guests were awaiting the brides arrival.
The couple chose Jo Armstrong as their wedding celebrant.
Arriving in a stretch Chev our bride was ready to make her walk down the aisle.
The ceremony photos speak for themselves. Fun, energetic and youthful, with loads of laughter, is the best way to describe Celebrant Jo’s style. Just look at the smiles and happiness in the images.
With vows, rings and kisses exchanged, paper work signed and the whole ceremony witnessed by loved ones and furbaby Tilly, the couple made their walk up the aisle as husband and wife.

Everyone knows the south west is beautiful for wedding photography. Add a Vineyard and a beautiful bride and groom and awesome bridal party and the images are perfection.
We had so much fun in the Vines, popping and spraying Champagne – because who doesn’t like that right?
We captured love and romance, fun and laughter and furbaby Tilly! Yes, its no secret! I love dogs at weddings. I love your furbabies at your weddings.
Time to Party!
WOW! Rustico Hay Shed Hill looked amazing set out for a wedding reception. Not only did it look amazing, it smelt amazing.
Guests were heard talking about how excited they were to eat, drink and be merry.
The atmosphere was amazing.
Queue the bridal party entrance! It was time to get the wedding reception underway.
It was soon time for speeches, to cut the beautiful wedding cake and for Tanaya and Andrew to have their first dance as husband and wife and get the party started.
With the wedding reception rocking, I took these lovers out for a final night image in front of the love letters at Rusctio Hay Shed Hill.
What an amazing day!
Hugest congratulations Tanaya and Andrew. Thanks for choosing me as your wedding photographer and letting me follow you to the south west for your wedding!
