Here are my top tips for questions you should be asking your wedding photographer about their wedding packages. Look out for hidden ‘extras’. Wedding photography prices vary based on experience, inclusions, equipment and insurances.

What’s included in your wedding photography package?

Sounds simple enough, but many wedding photography packages don’t include albums, prints, social media images or additional photographers. Make sure you understand exactly what you’re getting. Ensure you know who the person will be who photographs your day. Turnaround times for post production and final gallery delivery are also questions to ask.

How long do i need for formal photos?

One of the most important bits of advice I can give you is to have a clear timeline of your wedding. Things always go a bit astray, so you don’t need it planned to the minute, but do allow reasonable time for your wedding photography. The time you allocate will affect your experience. Too little may feel rush. Too much may feel too much like a photoshoot. How many images do i receive from our wedding?

Every wedding we capture is different so there’s not a fixed number of images we deliver to our couples. The number of images you receive from your wedding day depends on a few factors. For example – the amount of time we spend with you on your wedding day, the amount of people in your bridal party, the size of your family and the amount we travel during the day. We deliver and fully edit a full wedding collection of images minus blinks and misfires and our test images. This could range from 500 to 1500 wedding photographs.
